Instructions for getting and installing the good Hebrew unicode font

First, grateful thanks to SBL for providing these fonts for public use!

To install the fonts go to (http://www.sbl-site.org/Resources/default.aspx) and there is also a manual for Linux and other Open Source opperating systems and for Macs.

On PCs, download the font from the bottom of the page linked above.

Now install the font in the usual way, on Windows PCs go to Control Panel (Settings - Control Panel) then Fonts, File and Install New Font. Go to the temporary home of the font file.

Highlight the SBL font and make sure that the box "Copy Fonts to Fonts Folder" is checked, or else if you delete the files from the temporary directory the font will disappear.

Click "OK" and the Fonts in Hypertext Bible Commentary - Amos will show onscreen.
