כֵּן ken "thus, so" often used in combinations like:

`al-ken therefore (Am 3:2)

laken therefore or so (Am 3:11; 4:12; 5:11, 13, 16; 6:7; 7:17)

vayhi ken it was so/it happened like that (Am 5:14 vihi-ken is an incomplete verb = "so it will be")

koh ... ken as ... so cf. Am 3:12
