Structured text using self-conscious artistry, whose production is governed by clear conventions or rules is called "poetry", which is the antonym of "prose" - ordinary speech or writing. Some biblical texts are difficult to classify as poetry or as prose (esp. prophetic speech). This "elevated prose style" is sometimes referred to by the German term Kunstprosa.
