This verse is straightforward though grim. When Adonai "delivers up" Samaria to its enemy even the survivors will die.
"Ten people left in one house" could be either a large or a small number depending on the picture you draw. As the remnant from a household ten would be almost everyone. However if the picture is of survivors huddled together in one house, ten is pitifully small.
There is also an echo of 5:3. There a clan that sent a "hundred" to war had only ten left, should we perhaps suppose that these are the ten who survived?
